Do you have practical experience working with the Community?


The Tāmaki Redevelopment Company (TRC) is jointly-owned by the Crown and Auckland Council and was recently established to lead the Tāmaki Transformation Programme.

Our ambition is to work with local people and stakeholders to create a thriving, attractive and sustainable community.

This role supports the Community Development Advisors in delivery of our regeneration programme across Tamaki.

You will be an “on-the-ground” person for TRC regeneration projects and acting as TRC’s primary point of face-to-face contact for local residents..

To be successful in this role you will have experience:

  • Working cross agency
  • Working with families in a sensitive and culturally appropriate manner
  • Working with families to identify and implement local initiatives that strengthen community wellness and connectedness

Personal attributes we require are:

  • A self -starter
  • Compassionate problem solver
  • Experience in building and fostering relationships
  • Experience of a broad range of working environments and cultures
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification

You are a people person and are able to create a good rapport with people in the community.
