Community Engagement Manager

Reporting to the GM Corporate Affairs, the Community Engagement manager leads the community liaison team and will be deeply involved with local residents, schools and businesses.The role is responsible for ensuring effective community engagement and accurate information distribution as well as facilitating continuous and constructive feedback between the community and TRC.

The ideal candidate will have links to the Tāmaki community and connect with TRC's regeneration goals and vision. Experience in community roles is preferred and candidates need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience leading community initiatives and working with socio economic change projects would be useful and a willingness to work in a collaborative manner is essential.

Government and Local Government Relations Manager

Reporting to the GM Corporate Affairs, the Government and Local Government Relations Manager is an important link with our shareholders, the NZ Government and Auckland Council. Tāmaki Regeneration is a flagship programme for shareholders so a sound understanding of both the central and local government systems is critical. 

The ideal candidate is likely to have a background in advocacy, policy and stakeholder communications or regulatory affairs and experience in managing government or local government relationships from a public or private sector perspective. A good understanding of key legislative requirements such as the Official Information Act, Privacy Act and Local Government Information Act would also be useful.

Communications Coordinator
